Whether you come to tie, be tied, reconnect with friends, or simply immerse yourself in the atmosphere, our Rope Jams are an evening dedicated to connection through rope.
Subspace has grown into a place where different styles of tying naturally find their own home. Each floor offers its own atmosphere, allowing you to choose the environment that feels right for your evening.
Everyone is welcome, from complete beginners to experienced practitioners. Come with a partner, come alone, or simply come to watch, learn, and become part of the community. While we can't guarantee you'll find someone to tie with, you'll always find a welcoming space to connect.
A space to explore
Subspace offers different spaces for different ways of tying, spread across three floors. Up to ten pairs can tie simultaneously, each floor offering its own atmosphere, from open and social to quiet and secluded.
First floor
A quiet, intimate room dedicated to floorwork, with space for two pairs. Ideal for slower scenes and focused connection.
Next door, our small kitchen and lounge offers a place to have a drink, recharge, talk or cuddle before and after tying.
Ground floor
The heart of the Rope Jam, with five tying spaces for partial and full suspension. Four dedicated suspension points are joined by a specially adapted Saint Andrew’s Cross that can be used for Hashira and suspension.
Basement
A more secluded setting divided into three smaller tying areas: one for suspension and two dedicated to floorwork. Ideal when you prefer a little more privacy or quiet concentration.
Whether you come for lively conversations, focused tying, floorwork or suspension, you can find the space that suits your evening.
Expect an evening of rope, conversation, and connection in a relaxed atmosphere.
Whether you're tying on the first floor, suspending on the ground floor, or finding a quieter corner downstairs, there's space to make the evening your own.
Coffee, tea, soft drinks, and, of course, a bowl of candy are available throughout the evening, on us. Consider it a little aftercare for everyone.
Doors are open for arrivals between 19:00 and 20:00. After 20:00, we close the doors so everyone can settle into the evening together. The Rope Jam ends at 23:00.
The tying spaces on all three floors are dedicated to tying. To allow everyone to stay immersed in their scene, we ask that conversation in these areas is kept to an absolute minimum and voices to a whisper. If you want to chat, catch up with friends or take a break between scenes, the lounge on the first floor is there for exactly that.

The Rope Jam ends at 23:00. As people live directly above Subspace, we ask everyone to respect our neighbours and leave promptly at closing time. Please start gathering your belongings and saying your goodbyes in time so that the space can be quiet at 23:00.
A shared space
Subspace is a welcoming space built around respect, consent and consideration for others. The Rope Jam is yours to enjoy, but the space, equipment and tying areas are shared with everyone attending.
Please share the space generously. There are many places to tie across Subspace, and everyone should have the opportunity to enjoy them. Use the space freely, but be mindful of others and avoid occupying more room than you need.
Treat each other with kindness, communicate openly, and always ask before entering someone else’s scene or personal space. Consent isn’t just part of tying; it’s part of how we share the evening together.
Watching is welcome. Crowding is not. Our Rope Jam is an open space, and watching others tie can be part of the experience. Please keep a respectful distance from ongoing scenes and never move closer in order to claim a tying space next. Give people the room and time to finish their scene without feeling rushed.
To protect everyone’s privacy, photography and video are not permitted.
There’s no need to reserve a spot. Just come as you are, pay at the door, and settle into the evening. If you ever need anything or something doesn’t feel right, your host is always nearby if you need anything.

Unless indicated otherwise Friday is Rope Jam night at Subspace.
Doors are open for arrivals from 19:00 to 20:00.
The evening ends at 23:00.
