Twice a month, Subspace opens its doors for a Rope Jam: an evening of connection, exploration, and shared practice for those drawn to rope bondage in all its forms.
Once a month, the rope jam is queer-only, creating a dedicated space for LGBTQIA+ connection and expression. The other edition is open to everyone
A rope jam is a social gathering. It’s a place to meet new people, reconnect with familiar faces, tie together, exchange experiences, or simply be present in a space shaped by rope and respect. Whether you are already experienced in Shibari or other forms of bondage, or still finding your way, you are welcome here.
Subspace is a open to all respectful individuals with good intentions. Curiosity, care, and consent form the foundation of the evening.
Guests are welcome to arrive between 19:00 and 20:00. After that, the doors close so the atmosphere can settle without interruption.
The space remains open until 23:30, and you’re free to leave whenever you wish.
The rope jam takes place on two levels:
The ground floor, with four suspension points, offers space for open tying and shared practice.
The basement dungeon, divided into three smaller areas, allows for more private and contained play.
This balance creates room for both visibility and intimacy, depending on what you’re drawn to that evening.
The rope jam is open to:
People curious about rope who wish to observe, connect, and learn through presence
Singles as well as couples
While singles are very welcome, we cannot guarantee play. Many people attend simply to meet others in the community, to get to know Subspace and what we stand for, or to spend an evening immersed in rope culture.
No reservations: entry is paid in cash at the door (€20)
Drinks: non-alcoholic drinks are available at fair prices; you’re also welcome to bring your own
Equipment: please bring your own rope and carabiners. Hemp rope is available for purchase at Subspace
As always, respect, consent, and awareness are essential. This is a shared space, held together by the people in it.
