Shibari:

Follow-Up

About this workshop

0.2 Follow-Up

After you've taken a beginners course and had lots of practice, this is the next step in your learning process.

During a 2,5 hour course we will follow-up on your basic skills and focus on Gote and Takatekote, one of the most important building blocks in Shibari.

We will not limit ourselves by only tying the upper body. There will be plenty of time to focus on the lower body too.

Minimum requirements to be able to participate in this workshop are mastering basic ties and knots like lark’s head, square knot, half hitch and single and double column ties.

Just like our Shibari for Absolute Beginners workshop, you don't need a partner to be able to participate in this course. If you participate as a single, we will randomly match you with another participant to practice together. As the follow-up is designed for both parties to learn, there is the possibility to switch.

We recommend fitting, comfortable clothes for the rigger as well as the model. You will need a minimum of 3 jute or hemp ropes, preferably with a 5 or 6mm width and 8m length.

Let's get started!
